ININSA Congratulates AVASA on 50 Years of Service to Citrus Plant Health
As the company responsible for building its greenhouses, ININSA joins in recognizing a remarkable legacy that has been essential to the citrus industry.
The Agrupación de Viveros de Agrios (AVASA) celebrates its 50th anniversary. Since its founding in 1976, it has contributed to the supply of more than 300 million virus-free citrus plants through a certification and quality control system developed in collaboration with nurseries, research institutions, and public authorities.
At ININSA, we are proud to have built AVASA's greenhouses and to have contributed, through our expertise, to the facilities that support its work.
AVASA's history demonstrates the value of collaboration between researchers, nursery growers, and companies in improving plant health and the quality of plant material. Advances in sanitation, monitoring, and propagation have been essential to the transformation of the Spanish citrus industry.
