The multi-span greenhouse with a curved roof is one of the most versatile solutions developed by ININSA, widely used in horticultural production projects, nurseries, and intensive crops in all types of climates. Its curved roof geometry allows for good structural performance, proper load distribution, and spacious, open interiors.
ININSA offers a wide range of bay widths, from 6.40 m to 10.00 m, with modular configurations that allow the structure to be adapted to any surface and cultivation system. The spacing between pillars can be configured in 4 m or 5 m modules, facilitating the design of expandable and scalable facilities.
The greenhouse can be equipped with roof and perimeter ventilation, with varying percentages of opening, as well as a wide variety of covering materials, from plastic film and netting to rigid PVC or polycarbonate panels. The structure can incorporate oval profiles to improve strength with a smaller cross-section and reduce shadows, as well as white lacquered finishes to increase the reflection of interior light.
Thanks to its modular design, the multi-span greenhouse with a curved roof allows for future expansions and a high degree of customization according to crop, climate, and applicable regulations.
One of the key design aspects is the control of structural deformations, essential to prevent stress on the photovoltaic panels that could compromise their integrity and performance. The structure is designed to minimize these deformations, guaranteeing the durability of both the greenhouse and the photovoltaic installation.
The energy generated can be used to power the greenhouse's own systems (automation, climate control, irrigation) and, depending on the project, any surplus can be sold to the electrical grid, increasing the profitability of the operation.
The main structure is fully hot-dip galvanized and assembled without welding, using bolted connections. This facilitates future expansions, both laterally and frontally, without the need to dismantle the existing structures. The greenhouse can be equipped with the specific "Supercénit Plus FV" roof ventilation system, perimeter ventilation, and the same equipment as the multi-span curved-roof models.
ININSA provides each photovoltaic project with a fully customized approach, adapting the structure to the module dimensions, the required power (MW/m² ratio), the type of crop, and the climatic and regulatory conditions of the site. The company has extensive international experience, with installations carried out especially in Italy and France, where large-scale agrivoltaic projects have been developed.
